One of the UK’s leading investment brokers is moving to Kings Hill to take advantage of the high quality of life the business park will offer its employees.
Elson Associates Plc has taken a 10.25 year lease on 3,606 sq ft in 30 Tower View, where it will join other blue chip tenants, including Barclays and Abbott Laboratories.
The well-established company transacts investments for corporate and private clients – which number well in excess of 80,000 – and employs 16 staff, most of whom will be moving from their existing offices in Sidcup early next year.
Director Graham Elson, who founded the company in 1987, said that one of the deciding factors for the move was the amenities Kings Hill provides. “My staff are my greatest asset and it is of huge importance that we provide the best working environment we can,” he said.
“Our new offices are close to the shops, bars and restaurants of Liberty Square and the David Lloyd leisure centre is a short walk away. There is plenty of parking and the newly opened by pass to Kings Hill from the M20 will make their journey into work easy.
“As one of the country’s most prominent investment brokers we also need a location which reflects our position within our sector, and the low-density, highly landscaped environment at Kings Hill fulfils that.”
The move is particularly welcome for Graham’s brother, Mike, who will be overseeing the day to day running of the company. He lives at Kings Hill, and Graham said Mike is looking forward to a short walk to work every morning. He will be joining the 15% of residents at Kings Hill who work for a business on site.
30 Tower View is in a prestigious location close to the entrance to the business park and adjacent to many blue chip tenants.
Andrew Blevins, managing director of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust UK Ltd said: “Research shows that people perform better if they are happy with their environment and I am delighted that Elson has chosen to move to Kings Hill.
“Kings Hill is the premier location in the South East M25 quadrant and interest in space here is keen. We have a further 3,000 sq ft available in 30 Tower View and some remaining space in the new 42 Kings Hill Avenue, the only new headquarters building currently available in the whole of the M25 sector.”
